Description
"Fire and Iron is the title of the catalog/artist’s book which accompanies Bill Burke’s exhibit of the same name at Pittsburgh Filmmakers. The show and book trace themes related to steel and fire, which includes pictures made in America’s steel and coal country and follows the path of the characters in the film The Deer Hunter to settings of the Vietnam War. The catalog includes alarmingly appropriate poems made by artist Sue Wrbican who worked in a steel mill in the late 1970s. http://www.binhfoto.com/books/fireiron.html (accessed 9/13/15)"
