Description

The Cross Garden book is the summation of a twenty year photography project. Diane recorded the constant changes of Rev. Rice's Cross Garden from 1984 to 2004. To quote from the introduction of the book by the photographer, 'Rice's Cross Garden captures in a fierce and violent physical representation the complicated and competing forces of a region; it draws on foundational history, but in its outrage contemplates contemporary challenges to the historic status quo.' http://www.dawhois.net/site/dianealire.com.html (accessed 9/7/15)
