Campus Views
Scenes from Around Denison
Anything that's survived from 1831 has obviously undergone a great many changes over its life. This page serves as a showcase of bygone Denison views. The first section is images of campus that may show buildings that are now demolished, offer a unique perspective of campus, or, simply, have an interesting story connected to them. Maps are the focus of the second section. Since maps are the simplest way to show the progress of construction, they are fun to study for the relative age of the buildings as well as to see the artistry of map making. Finally, the bottom of this page has an assortment of viewbooks from as early as 1893. Not only do they offer a glimpse of buildings, but course work, extracurriculars, and faculty are often highlighted in their pages. (Be sure to click on items to get a better look!)
